Koenigsberg was a city in Eastern Prussia.

Since the 1945-49 take-over by Soviet Union communists under Stalin this city is renamed Kaliningrad in the Oblast Kaliningrad, today Russia.

It borders with Lithuania in the East/North-East, the Baltic Sea in the West and Poland in the South.
