Began the process of re-working this article. The actual content in the history section was mostly a massive quote from a circa 1900 project Gutenberg book (Heros of the Telegraph) -- the article needs an introduction which describes what a telephone IS, and some discussion of the various types... Then, we need LINKS to sub-pages for telephone(history) and telephone(signaling) and telephone(Switching).
