Hart to Hart
Hart to Hart was a television program starring Robert Wagner as Jonathan Hart and Stefanie Powers as his wife Jennifer Hart, who lived in a wealthy suburb of Los Angeles. The show ran from 1979 to 1984 on the ABC Television Network. Jonathan Hart was a self-made millionaire -- the CEO of Hart Industries, a global conglomerate. His gorgeous wife Jennifer was a freelance journalist. They spent their free time as amateur detectives, and in every episode they were up to their eyeballs in murder, smuggling, theft and international espionage. They also managed to find time to snuggle together, as they loved each other very much. They were supported by Max (Lionel Stander), their loyal, gravelled-voiced butler, cook, and chauffeur; and their pet dog, "Freeway."
It 2002, ABC announced plans to develop a new version of Hart to Hart, this time with a homosexual couple as the title characters; Steve Martin was to produce the program. As of 2005, however, the show is not in active development.
