PowerPC is a microprocessor architecture by AIM (Apple Computer, IBM and Motorola). It is designed along RISC principles, allows for a superscalar implementation. There are 32 bit and 64 bit implementations of the architecture.


PowerPC processors are used in Apple Macintosh computer and the Nintendo Gamecube.
