The Philips G7400, also known as the Odyssey3, was a video game console released only in Europe (very strange occurace). It was the sequal to the Odyssey2, released in 1983.

There were intially plans to released the G7400 in the US, dubbed the Odyssey Command Center. It had both 16 kb RAM and ROM and featured excellently talored backround and foreground graphics. It was never released. Why? Company exceutives concluded that the Odyssey3 wasn't technoligically advanced enough to compete on the market place. Also, the video game crash of 1983/84 ended all lingering hopes.

The G7400 could play all Odyssey2 games, remade Odyssey1 games, as well as its own games.
