Cleveland steamer

A Cleveland steamer (also known as a Pasadena mudslide) is sexual slang for a sexual act, where one partner defecates on the other partner's chest. It is sometimes rubbed onto the recipient using a steamroller motion with the buttocks. Often the breasts are squeezed together for the man to stick his penis into and ejaculate as he is also defecating. This is purportedly used as an extreme method of breaking up with someone.

The references to the city of Cleveland are unclear and lost into the obscurity of history, but most likely are derived from a play on the word cleavage. The steamer part of the name refers to the wisps of "smoke", actually condensing moisture, being released by the still warm feces.

Popular culture

• Najeh Davenport, the Green Bay Packers backup running back, may have been attempting a variation on the Cleveland Steamer shortly after he was drafted by the Packers in 2002. He was arrested for allegedly defecating in his girlfriend's closet. Efforts to nickname him "the Steamer" both for this act and for his bruising running style have not been successful.

• The band Tenacious D mentions the act in the song "Rock Your Socks." They have also sold mock baseball jerseys at concerts for the fictitious "Cleveland Steamers" baseball team, sporting the player number 666.

• The 2005 film The 40-Year-Old Virgin makes reference to a variation on the Cleveland steamer named "The Cincinnati Bowtie." Other Hollywood films mentioning the act include Not Another Teen Movie and Woody Allen's Crimes and Misdemeanors.

• In the Family Guy episode "Mr. Saturday Knight," Peter Griffin becomes a prostitute. While he is standing on a street corner, his wife Lois drives by and stops at traffic lights. He propositions her, then asks her if she'd like a Cleveland steamer, to which she replies angrily "get into the car...what's a Cleveland steamer?"

• The term has also been frequently (and comically) mentioned by Dean of Big Brother 2005 (Australia).

• On the Stroker and Hoop episode "XXX Wife," Stroker was nominated a "Pornie Award" for Best Cleveland Steamer of the Year.

• In a somewhat cleaner variation, the recipient can lie under a glass coffee table on which the performer of the act squats and defecates. This has been referred to in the John Waters film, A Dirty Shame, as a "Plate Job," "plate" referring to the plate glass. This variant is also known as the "Pittsburgh platter" or "glass-bottom boat."

• In the 1999 German Adult Film "Deine Scheisse Schmeckt So Gut" the actor Samjit defecates onto his own chest. The move has been termed the "Filthy Fudge Platter."

• According to Lake Zurich folklore, the first ever Cleveland Steamer was performed by a certain Matt Benrus. On his very unfortunate mother.
