Tupac Shakur was an influential rap artist who was shot and killed in an September 1996 incident spurred by antagonism between him and other rappers, bred by gangsta rap. His reputation grew after his death, and there are some who insist that he is not dead.


Some of his handles included 2Pac, Pac, and Makaveli.
