Whidbey Island
Large island in the north-west corner of Washington State.
Connected to the mainland by a bridge over Deception Pass at the northern end and by ferry links and the south end (to Mukilteo_Washington) and the western shore (to Port Townsend Washington, on the Olympic Penninsula).
Whidbey Island is home to Whidbey Island Naval Air Station and is renowned for Penn Cove mussels.
