The Parti démocratie chrétienne du Québec was founded in 2000 by Christian fundamentalists associated with the Centre d’Information nationale Robert Rumilly.

Its program is a mix of Christian fundamentalism and Québec nationalism.

The party is concerned about the declining birth rate in Québec, opposed to rights for homosexual, wants more support of families and wider availability of Québec-made consumer products.
