The non-profit Hazelden Foundation, based in Center City, Minnesota, pioneered the model of care for alcoholism and drug addiction that is now the most widely used in the world. With over 50 years of experience and an unparalleled breadth of services, Hazelden today is an international provider of treatment, recovery, research, education and training, and is the largest publisher of recovery-related materials in the world.
Since its 1949 founding in a rural Minnesota lakeside farmhouse, Hazelden has grown into one of the world's largest, most respected, and best-known private alcohol and drug rehabilitation centers in the world.
