Musical group known for pioneering the genre Ambient-House. Formed in England in 1988. Fronted by Dr. Alex Patterson with contributions over the years with Kris "Thrash" Weston, Youth, Jimi Cauty, Steve Hillage, and Thomas Fehlmann. The Orb are best known for their 1991 hit "Little Fluffy Clouds".
