Maulvi Bazar is a city in north-eastern Bangladesh. It is the capital of Maulvi Bazar District. Maulvi Bazar is located on the banks of the Manu River. The city has a high population density. The Maulvi Bazar region is well known for its tea gardens and tropical forests.
