The depot had lost their express routes to another Bus Depot (X63 & X64), the Queens Village Depot; while gaining a bus route from Queens Village in return (Q30). The depot also hosts 2 of the 3 bus routes that leave the cities boundaries (Q5, Q85). The Jamaica Bus Depot is part of the Queens Division of bus depots in MTA New York City Transit buses.
