Ogopogo

This is an old revision of this page, as edited by 80.225.78.125 (talk) at 08:12, 6 April 2004 (zeuglodont theories of shuker; not a "long neck"). The present address (URL) is a permanent link to this revision, which may differ significantly from the current revision.

Ogopogo is the name given to reputed lake monsters which live in Lake Okanagan, British Columbia, Canada.

Its most likely identity, according to the noted British zoologist Dr. Karl Shuker, is that of a surviving species of Zeuglodont, a primitive serpentine whale. Sightings tend to suggest that the Lake Okanagan beasts are of the 'many hump', rather than the 'long neck' type.
