Southern Voice is the main lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender newspaper in Atlanta, Georgia and the Southeast United States. Launched as an independent publication in 1988, it has since been picked up by a Window Media. It is now part of a group of gay-oriented newspapers circulated throughout the United States. It focuses mainly on global and regional political issues concerning LGBT persons.
