Uma Khouny
Uma (born Uma Barum Khouny on November 4, 1981 in Israel) was one of the 13 housemates of ABS-CBN's Pinoy Big Brother, Season 1. Finally after spending 112 days inside the house, Uma landed in the fourth spot dubbed as the Fourth Big Placer garnering only 52,833 votes or 4.7% of total votes in the Big Night held at Clark Expo Amphitheater, Angeles City, Pampanga on December 10, 2005.
Uma is the only housemate who never got nominated by his fellow housemates and is well known to his frank and straight-forward attitude. In fact he had some celebrities whom he had hurt while staying in the house. Because of the said attitude and to his phobia to cockroaches he was led to an issue of homosexuality. But when he was asked by his favorite Filipina actress Kris Aquino - who had visited them on their last week in the Pinoy Big Brother house- if he is gay, he admitted that many of his colleagues thought so but he isn't. He's just a bit soft to people that's why some mis-interpreted him.
