U.S. Highway 222 is a spur of U.S. Highway 22. It runs for 100 miles (161 km) from Dorneyville, Pennsylvania to Conowingo, Maryland at U.S. Highway 1. It passes through the states of Pennsylvania and Maryland. It goes through the cities of Reading, Pennsylvania, and Lancaster, Pennsylvania, and in between the two cities for the last several years there has been a high level of construction to renovate the highway.
