A peck is a customary unit of dry volume, equivalent to 8 dry quarts, or 16 dry pints. (Note that a dry pint is not the same as a wet pint.) Four pecks make a bushel.

The peck now only occurs in such phrases as "eat a peck of dirt before you die" or "peter ate a peck of pickled peppers".
