Good article on Nickelodeon shows! However, "some of the best shows" is an opinion, and "(feel free to add more)" is a given-- anyone can add anything on to any article. Except some controversial articles that one sysops can edit. But that's another story. Anyway, welcome to Wikipedia, glad you can join us. - user:zanimum
Matt, your pages such as Most Popular Names: 1880's are not really encyclopedic in my opinion. I think it would be better if you put them at WikiSource instead. This is part of Wikipedia which collects source texts. Angela 22:53, Oct 26, 2003 (UTC)
Hi Matt. Welcome to Wikipedia. On your list of most popular names, if we keep them, you should probably clarify where they were most popular. Obviously, it wasn't in china, but it could be the U.S. but not in England. Danny 02:40, 31 Oct 2003 (UTC)
As these names seem to be the most popular names in the Unites States, rather than globally, IMO it would be a good idea to say so in the article. Wikipedia is used by people all over the world. (Possibly someone might add most popular names in other nations later, or do you plan on researching this?) Cheers, -- Infrogmation 02:45, 31 Oct 2003 (UTC)
Hi Matt, it seems I was wrong about the lists of most popular names (sorry about that). A lot of people have suggested these be kept. Do you have any thoughts on a new title? There were some suggestions made at VfD and I have copied these to Talk:Most Popular Names. How about List of most popular names in the United States? The only problem is that it makes the subpages have quite long titles as they would be things like List of most popular names in the United States in the 1890s. Let me know wat you think. I don't mind moving them all once something is decided. I will take the VfD notes off then too. I would do it now, but I thought it easiest to do it at the same time as moving the pages. Hi, Matt! I've been following you around adding links to the lists of extraterrestrial surface features you've been doing (good job, BTW) and I've noticed a glitch that is showing up often that you may wish to pay attention to since I don't know what's causing it. You seem to be omitting the semicolon from the end of HTML character entities, for example in the Lunar valleys list there was "Vallis Schrödinger" which should have been "Vallis Schrödinger". Also, you may want to put a link to your various "list of" articles over on List of reference tables; I've been doing that anyway, but I may miss some since I'm not actually stalking you - I simply happen to have a lot of the astronomy articles watchlisted. :) Bryan 03:04, 6 Nov 2003 (UTC)
Hi Matt, I hope you don't mind but I'm going to move your guestbook into the right place so it will be a subpage of your userpage. Otherwise it looks like there is a user called "MattSal Guestbook"! You'll find it at User:MattSal/Guestbook. You can still make the link look the same by typing [[User:MattSal/Guestbook|User:MattSal Guestbook]]Angela 23:19, Nov 6, 2003 (UTC)
Hi Matt, I noticed you're moving a lot of pages but not fixing the redirects to them. When you move a page, you need to click on what links here and fix all the links, especially the redirects, that were pointing to the page's old title because they will end as broken double redirects otherwise. Please could you check these for the ones you've just done. Let me know if you need any more explanation of how to do this. Angela 22:09, 21 Nov 2003 (UTC)
Hi have you checked that your movie poster images aren't copyright violations? Secretlondon 23:37, Dec 11, 2003 (UTC)
Minneapolis
What is the copyright status of the image Media:Minneapolis skyline daytime.jpg you uploaded? I am thinking of nominating it as a Featured picture candidate. Thanks. LUDRAMAN | T 19:49, 12 Apr 2004 (UTC)
