Auvergne is an administrative region of central France.

The principal town of Auvergne is Clermont-Ferrand. A large part of the Auvergne region is covered by the volcanic Massif Central mountain range. The region is famed for its exports of mineral water and tires.

The composer Joseph Canteloube is well known for his Songs of the Auverge for voice and orchestra.
