Keiichi Morisato

Keiichi Morisato (森里 螢一 Morisato Kei'ichi) is a character in the popular manga Oh My Goddess! (OMG) and in the anime of the same name and is voiced by Masami Kikuchi (菊池正美). His name is often abbreviated as "K1" (1 in the Japanese language is "ichi"). Note: "Kei" means "Strong" in Japanese so Kei'ichi means "Strong one".
Description
Template:Spoiler He is a student of the Nekomi Institute of Technology and a member of the Motor Club. Belldandy came to Keiichi to grant a wish as part of the emergency Goddess Technical Help Line when he accidentally (although some versions question if it was accidental) dialed that number, and then granted his wish that a girl like Belldandy would be by his side forever. Ever since, the two have been together, with Belldandy's presence attracting a lot of attention and causing a lot of adventures. Even though he may seem to be an indecisive man and very shy when it comes to love, he is a very reliable person.
He is a very skilled mechanic and an exceptional driver of motorcycles and other various motor vehicles (while generally glossed over in the OVA series, his skills are displayed to great effect in the movie). In the manga, he is bestowed the directorship of the Motor Club, which he subsequently passes on to Sora Hasegawa. After graduating from college, he goes to work for a repair shop called Whirlwind, which is owned by the first director of the Motor Club, Chihiro Fujimi.
Personality
Simply put, Keiichi is a nice guy. He tries to be nice to everyone, and doesn't like to see anyone hurt, or hurt anyone himself. He even tries to reason with Welsper, even while the latter is trying to kill him. However, Keiichi isn't stupid (though sometimes quite gullible), and can (and will) speak out if the situation calls for it.
Keiichi's pure and innocent personality also puts him in the middle of an unusual love relantionship. While he understands he loves Belldandy (and her as well), he sometimes has a difficult time expressing his feelings. Finally, he also seems to exhibit unadallterated pureness in his actions; he helps out others in need, he rarely complains about setbacks, and always attempts to be truthful about any situation.
Trivia
In all three anime versions of Oh! My Goddess (OVA, movie, and television series), Keiichi's seiyu is Masami Kikuchi. Two voice actors have played Keiichi in versions translated to English: Scott Simpson in the OVAs, and Rafael Antonio Oliver in the movie. The television series is being dubbed into English by Media Blasters, but it is unknown who will be Keiichi's voice actor.
Amongst bishoujo series fans, Keiichi often pointed out as a 'higher functioning' meek everyman character (who has a reasonable school and social life and simply has some awkwardness with romantic pursuits) versus more exaggerated comedic characters like Keitaro Urashima.
