Saddar is one of the neighborhoods of Saddar Town in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan. Saddar is the downtown or central part of Karachi. 'Saddar' generally means 'center' (of the town) and also 'head' (of State or organization). In Urdu, Saddar means 'President'. Saddar-e-Pakistan means President of Pakistan.

Empress Market in Saddar is the central shopping area of Karachi. Karachi's central bus station is also located in Saddar that connects it all parts of Karachi. Saddar is also hub of business activities in Karachi.

There are several ethnic groups in Saddar Town including Urdu speakers, Punjabis, Sindhis, Kashmiris, Seraikis, Pakhtuns, Balochs, Memons, Bohras, Ismailis, etc. Over 99% of the population is Muslim. The population of Saddar Town is estimated to be nearly one million.
