The Woodside Priory School is an independent, 6-12 Catholic, college preparatory, day and boarding school in the Benedictine tradition located in Portola Valley, CA. Located within 40 minutes of San Francisco, the Priory combines its rural 60-acre campus with a talented faculty, a 10:1 student/teacher ratio, a strong college and university preparatory curriculum, and a competitive athletic program. It seeks to embody the values at the heart of Benedictine education -- belief in order and discipline in one’s life, respect for learning, and an appreciation for the shared experience of community life. Priory students are challenged to develop their fullest potential in the classrooms, on the athletic fields, and in their relationships with one another. The Boarding Program embodies a family model with professional residential advisors mentoring small groups of ten boarders each. International in scope, the program attracts students from all parts of the world and throughout the western United States. The goal of the Boarding Program is to develop individuals personally but to also be essential members of a community. Seamless interaction with the Priory's three hundred day students in the classrooms, sports, performing and visual arts, club and community service activities, as well as at Chapel and meals, provides for diversity and achievement of common goals.
