Scary Movie 4 is a sequel to Scary Movie 3 that is directed by David Zucker and written by Craig Mazin and Pat Proft. It is tentatively scheduled for release on April 14, 2006. This film is about 1 hour and 27 minutes.

Plot

This movie will officially spoof the following movies: Saw, The Village, The Grudge, and War of the Worlds. The reported opening sequence is a spoof of Saw, which will feature Dr. Phil McGraw and Shaquille O'Neal.

There will be The Village spoof poster. It will be in the movie theater like the rest of the Scary Movies, but the background will be in the woods.

This has been officialy rated PG-13 by the MPAA for TBA...

Teaser Trailer- Late January, early February. Probably with When A Stranger Calls (Opens February 3) or Final Destination 3(Opens February 10)
Official Trailer- Probably sometime in March and maybe in the late February. Probably attached to the movie, Pulse, which opens March 10, 2006.

The official budget is $110 million.
The Village was spoofed the most.
There is maybe one pop-up scene for a horror effect.
A person will not be crushed by a car at the end of the movie, unlike the previous movies.
Scary Movie 4 will not spoof superhero movies.
They were supposed to spoof House Of Wax in the beginning and Paris Hilton and Elisha Cuthbert were supposed to make an apperance but was later decided to be canceled.
Elisha Cuthbert played "Carly Cupboard" and Paris Hilton played "Paige Hilton". They also were going to make fun of "One Night In Paris", Paris Hilton's sex tape, and that was going to be called "The Videotape" called "One Night In France".
Cindy Campbell might be a nurse in "Scary Movie 4". There was an interview with Anna Faris in "Entertainment Weekly" and said she will be working in a hospital, spoofing "The Grudge". She also said Cindy gets beat up a lot.
