Latin for "New Scotland".

A province on the east coast of Canada. It was one of the four original provinces in Confederation, including New Brunswick, Quebec (Lower Canada and Ontario (Upper Canada)

Its capital is Halifax. Cape Breton is a large island in Nova Scotia.

The Bluenose Schooner, which appears on the Canadian ten-cent piece (dime) was built in Lunenburg, a town on the South Shore.

Other towns include Wolfville, Nova Scotia.
