Ingrid Kavelaars (born March 20, 1971) is a Canadian film actress.
Early life
She attended Regina Mundi Catholic High School in London Ontario Canada.
Career
Ingrid moved to New York City from London Ontario Canada at the age of 19 to persue and a career as an actress. She has mostly done work on televison shows and most notably three episodes in Stargate SG-1 between 2003-2004.
Private life
Born in London Ontario Canada.
Was Miss Teen London in 1987 & was first runner up for Miss Teen Canada 1987.
Ingrid has a twin sister Monique Kavelaars. Monique also competed in the same competition only in 1989 and was Miss Teen London 1989 as well as Miss Teen Canada 1989.
Twin Sister Monique is a world class athlete in Fencing which she took up in highschool. Monique was Silver Medalist at Commonwalth Games for fencing. Also is the only Canadian woman to ever win an individual match, in Epee Fencing, at an Olympic Event (Athens 2004).
Ingrid & Monique also have an older sister Annette Kavelaars Burrows who was Miss London 1984, and competed in the 1985 Miss Canada Pageant. Anette is also was a Highschool Arts Teacher for a number of years.
She is married to former NHL Hockey Player Dallas Eakins (29 June 2001 - present).
