South Indian actress Simran

Simran Nawal, known professionally as Simran, is an Indian film actress. Though she was born in Mumbai and made her debut in the Hindi film Tere Mere Sapne, she later on moved to the Tamil movie industry and established herself as a actress of repute. Her notable films include Kanannethere Thondrinal, Vaali and Kannathil Muthamittal.

The Tamil press has linked her with choreographer Raju Sundaram and later on with actor Kamal Hassan. In 2004, year she married Deepak Bagga, a childhood friend. She gave birth to a boy on June 13,2005. She is living happily in Delhi.

Simran is a good dancer and can perform ''Bharat Natyam'' with the same ease as with ''Salsa''. She can change expressions quickly and has a photogenic face too. It is a shame she reitred from acting.
