Sysop

Congratulations! You are now an administrator. You should read the relevant policies and other pages linked to from the administrators' reading list before carrying out tasks like deletion, protection, banning users, and editing protected pages such as the Main Page. Most of what you do is easily reversible by other sysops, apart from page history merges and image deletion, so please be especially careful with those. Good luck. Angela. 07:05, May 5, 2004 (UTC)

About yourself

SD6-Agent... I was wondering, now that you're an administrator, if you could tell us just a little bit about yourself on your user page. We already know you have great taste in television... But seriously; I believe that admins revealing a little about themselves helps to dispel to idea that there's some sort of secret cabal running the pedia. Just a thought... -- Seth Ilys 13:23, 5 May 2004 (UTC)[reply]

Mad Mad House

Hello. Regarding Mad Mad House, the series is not Canadian. The series was produced by A. Smith Productions, which is also responsible for FOX's Paradise Hotel, and I believe the series had already begun airing on the Sci-Fi Channel before it debuted on Space. -- Rdash (t) 21:45, May 5, 2004 (UTC)

I don't think it falls under the category of Canadian, however. It takes place in the United States, and it was made for an American broadcaster. It falls into the same boat as CSI, which is produced by Alliance Atlantis, also a Canadian production company, but is still considered an American show. (And if MMH really were to be considered Canadian, that would make Paradise Hotel and Forever Eden Canadian as well.) Over here, Space calls it the "Canadian television premiere", which suggests that it is indeed an American show that was picked up for a Canadian audience. -- Rdash (t) 22:05, May 5, 2004 (UTC)

I am a bit curious as to why you took the trouble to name the HQ of the Canadian Space Agency the John H. Chapman Space Station when the Web pages of the agency call it the John H. Chapman Space Centre. Yes, it looks cool, in a way, but it is not quite accurate. AlainV 03:48, 2004 May 13 (UTC)
