Krakatoa (Indonesian name: Krakatau).

Volcano on the Indonesian island of Rakata in the Sunda Strait that suffered an massive eruption on August 26, 1883 at 10.02 am local time. It was the most severe volcanic explosion on Earth in modern times (VEI of 6, equivalent to 200 MT of TNT) more than 35,000 people were killed by the resultant tsunami waves.
