This is a list of environmental organizations, organizations that preserve or monitor the environment in different ways. Environmental organizations can be global, regional, national or local; they can be government-run or private.

Intergovernmental Organizations

• Sewage Sludge - in the US it is perfectly legal to fertilize food crops with solids from the sewer, which include lots of heavy metals and toxins.
