Bleach (manga)
"Bleach" is a manga by Kubo Taito, author of Zombie Powder. It follows the life of Kurosaki Ichigo, a 15 year old student with the ability to see ghosts. A female Shinigami (God of Death) runs into him one day while searching for an evil spirit. During the confrontation, her powers are transferred into Ichigo. Thusly the adventures of Ichigo and Rukia begin, as together they are destined to search out Hollows (fallen spirits) and perform soul burials.
This manga has been picked up for translation into English by Viz Communications, a company that some critics say makes small, annoying changes to its translations.
