ITV Digital is the sole British terrestrial digital television broadcaster. Following an expensive deal with the Football Association and disappointing takeup of its digital TV service, it has now applied to go into administration.

It has a famous advertising campaign involving Johnny Vegas and a fabric monkey.

ITV Digital's main shareholders are the UK broadcasters Carlton Communications plc and Granada plc.
