Image copyright problem with Image:Mary_Manheim.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Mary_Manheim.jpg. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).
The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images on Wikipedia is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}
.
Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. You can get help on image copyright tagging from Wikipedia talk:Image copyright tags. -- Carnildo 13:34, 1 February 2006 (UTC)
- I've fixed the license issue by asserting fair use. Take care in future. deeptrivia (talk) 13:41, 1 February 2006 (UTC)
Heads-up
Hi, your edits are very constructive. Please use edit summaries and Show preview button more often. Also, you seem to be marking several edits as minor - Please see Wikipedia:Minor edit for more clarity. --Gurubrahma 18:09, 1 February 2006 (UTC)

Good job. I've made a couple of minor changes myself. GregorB 19:30, 1 February 2006 (UTC)
Welcome to Esperanza!
Welcome, Arundhati bakshi, to Esperanza, the Wikipedia member association! As you might know, all the Esperanzians share one important goal: the success of this encyclopedia. Within that, we then attempt to strengthen the community bonds, and be the "approachable" side of the project. All of our ideals are held in the Charter, the governing document of the association.
Now that you are a member you should read the guide to what to do now or you may be interested in some of our programs. A quite important program is the StressUnit, which seeks to support editors who have encountered any stress from their Wikipedia events, and are seeking to leave the project. So far, Esperanza can be credited with the support and retention of several users. Redwolf24 runs the spam to keep members up to date. Also, we have a calendar of special events, member birthdays, and other holidays that you can add to and follow.
In addition to these projects, several more missions of Esperanza are in development, and are currently being created at Esperanza/Possibles.
I encourage you to take an active voice in the running of Esperanza. We have a small government system, headed by our Administrator general, Celestianpower, and guided by the Advisory Committee comprised of FireFox, Flcelloguy, Titoxd, and Karmafist. The next set of elections will be in February, and I would be glad to see you vote, or even consider running for a position.
If you have any other questions, concerns, comments, or general ideas, Esperanzian or otherwise, know that you can always contact Celestianpower by email or talk page or the Esperanza talk page. Alternatively, you could communicate with fellow users via our IRC channel, #wikipedia-esperanza (which is also good for a fun chat or two :). I thank you for joining Esperanza, and look forward to working with you in making Wikipedia a better place to work!

Help with templetes
Hi,
Hope you are the one with screen name Runa.
Anyways, can you tell me where you got all the templetes like dialing from 56k modem, being Aries, etc. I copied almost all I could from your page that applied to me, but I am sure there are others that I haven't looked at.

Help with Contents Panel
Hi,
First of all, thanks for the award, appreciation and help, the last of which I am asking for more.
I have created the entry on Student Linguistics in IIT Kharagpur and am facing a queer problem. In order to allow direct referencing from outside as well as from inside the page, I have created all entries as Level 3 headings. But as the dictionary is very large with around 150 words, the first 9 pages are taken up by the Contents Tab itself. Although its very easy to hide it and navigate, if the contents panel can be made into columns (preferably 3 columns), it would look a lot better.
Can you help?

Favour
I already know how to create tables with pipes, but the problem is that it will require manually typing all entries, which is not reccommended.
Can you do me a favour by editing the page yourself.
Thanks,
Ambuj 14:35, 8 February 2006 (UTC)
- Sure, I will try to test it out in my sandbox and see if it meets with your approval, then we can move it to the main article.
Help is here
Hi, Arundhati bakshi. You requested help in Student Linguistics in IIT Kharagpur. How may I help you? Gflores Talk 20:30, 8 February 2006 (UTC)
- The way I see it, it should be something like this... User:Gflores/Sandbox2. Another example List_of_Internet_slang. You'll have to separate each into individual letters and then have either bullet points (*) or numbered lists (#). Let me know if you need more clarification or help. :) Gflores Talk 20:43, 8 February 2006 (UTC)
