Reguest for translation
Hi - I got your name from the list at Wikipedia:Translators available#Icelandic-to-English.
I have a request for translation, or at least help with input into the article on Jørgen Jørgensen which corresponds to the Icelandic article is:Jörundur hundadagakonungur. The Icelandic article was a featured article and the English one is a minimilistic stub. I believe there would be significant material to incorporate into the English-language article from the Icelandic wiki. While I will add some information about his Tasmanian life as a sailor, explorer and convict, Jorgenson was also the ruler of Iceland for 2 months - I know no more and it seems an amazing story. Many thanks, Regards --User:AYArktos | Talk 00:02, 24 October 2005 (UTC)

Hello, mate, I see that you are interested in Eurovision. Would you like to be involved in connecting with more eurovision wikipedians to do up the eurovision pages in a more coherent manner? I have come across the Eurovision wikiproject page, which seems to have been dormant for over two years. It may be an idea to have a look there and see how we could improve the eurovision coverage. I have done up the Congratulations (Eurovision) page so far and put notes about it on the pages of those who performed there. Best regards from Australia, Blnguyen 23:54, 7 February 2006 (UTC)
Hi, i found your page through the icelandic to english translators. I am interested in the band Sigur ros and i was wondering if you could tell me exactly which part of this text is saying
"it was I who hung on the cross
An honest loner, that was I, that I swear
but the broad road was easier to pass
that road I walk and the cross I bear"
Að lífið hér var hart enda var ég það sem á
Krossinum hékk heiðarlegur einfari það var ég það ég sver
En hinn breiði vegur var greiðfærari hann geng ég og krossinn ber
Alla tíð
Thanks a lot, my email is [email protected]
