Stop Esso campaign
The Stop Esso campaign is a campaign by Greenpeace, Friends of the Earth and People and Planet aimed at boycotting the oil company Esso because they believe its doing a lot of damage to the environment.
Stop Esso France had been sued by Esso because it was blamed for falling profits because of a parody Esso logo:E$$O.

- May 18, 2002 - about 400 Esso stations boycotted.
