Club Deportivo Castellón is a Spanish football team formed in 1922 and based in Castellón. They will play the 2005-06 season in the Second Division after having won last season's promotion playoff. Its based in the city of Castellón on the autonomous community of Land of Valencia.They play in the 16,000 seaters of Nou Castalia Stadium.

History

It was in 1911 when it appeared the true soccer and after passing different equipment as the "Deportivo", the "Castalia", the "Gimnástico", the "Cultural" and the "Cervantes", was founded in 1922, July 22, the Club Deportivo Castellón.

In 1991, 29 August, in extraordinary assembly, the conversion of the Club in S.A.D was approved.

In 2004-05 season,the CD Castellon played in Spanish Second Division B finishing in 4th position. In the promotion playoff they won the two matchs; therefore, they promoted to Second Division.
