Cordoba, (in Spanish, Córdoba) is a city in Andalusia, southern Spain. Located on the Guadalquivir river, it was founded in Roman times. It's current population is 315,000.

Cordoba was conquered by the Moors in 711, and Moorish influence can still be felt in the city.
