Article is has been voted in by a large margin! So I'm removing the question related to it's existance in relation to copyright as that was the discussion of the vote, also removed old notes from beginning of this file. - Ice

I don't think this deserves to be a stub any longer. --Oxling 11:11, 15 Jan 2005 (UTC)

Stub re-appeared, after much editing since the stub, I'm going to attempt to sneak a de-stubbing past the stub cron and peer review, if it deserves a stub at this point, I'd be surprised though. --Ice 06:13, 20 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Anyone else think there should be a mention of the mints? -Hench 21:54, Apr 10, 2005 (UTC)

I agree. Go for it. - Oxling 03:37, 2 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]
Someone needs to mentions Sno-Bawls too - Play 00:52, 6 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

If it's Bawls related... put it up! Culture, flavors, varients, availability (something I would love to see, but we haven't actually assembled after 2 attempts by me) products related to it, etc. --Ice 06:13, 20 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Is it really appropriate to have a link to where to purchase this item? Judzillah

Considering it's a difficult beverage to find, I'd argue that it's pertinent. Doesn't make much sense to not put it in.

Difficult? maybe i live in some bawls filled world, but its everywehre on the west coast, but including a link for this seems ok,
--alfrin 22:09, Jun 18, 2005 (UTC)
I can't find it anywhere in Wisconsin, save Lan party locations, and rarely in one of the computer retailers that carries it. - Ice

Cleanup effort needed. My idea's grown past my personal maintinance skills, anyone game for giving it a professional look? - Ice

Seriously, it's not a stub. It looks like this is pretty much everything there is to know about Bawls (I even created a whole new page for the mints). Why is it still marked as a stub? I would change it myself but I'm kinda new so I don't want to piss everyone off. Also, why does it have two different stub markers? - Chriszuma 04:41, 20 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

the original first sentence

The first sentence of an article should summarize the most significant attributes of the article's subject. The original sentence was: "Bawls is an energy drink marketed mainly towards computer gaming enthusiasts and paintballers." Really, that's peripheral info about how the drink relates to society. About the drink itself though, the stuff inside the bottle, the most important identifier is the caffeine content. Which is why I changed the first sentence to its current form.

This is 4th grade english folks. "Topic sentences," remember? - User:Xmnemonic

Availability

Contrary to what the acticle says, Bawls is not avalible in most stores that soft drinks are sold everywhere in the US. It is actually rather hard to find in many locations including Michigan. Here in Michigan, only a few stores that cater to the gaming crowd carry the drink.

Michigan, cool. I live in Northen Michigan, and the only place anywhere near here is Area 51 Internet Gaming Center. --Navarro

Wisconsin has poor to no supply, also. CompUSA rarely has it in stock, LAN party locations may or may not have it, and it is generally hard to find. I had argued this before when using a refrence to Thinkgeek as a source in the original version of this article. --Ice

Help

I would like to help with this and add it to my desk. --Navarro

I'm back... sure, any help is good. --Ice

Saving the bottles

I've noticed a trend around my area with LANers saving the bawls bottles. I've seen it at larger LANs as well, such as the 800 man PDXlan. I was wondering if this was a local thing or if this can be consitered a normal practice. If it is, I'd love to add it to the article. - Useless Fodder 08:22, 30 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

We should go into this in the culture section of the actual article. --Ice 06:32, 20 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

POV describing taste

It says 'delicious' refering to the taste, which is an opinion. I'm expunging 'delicious' for now, if it is felt necessary can be put back in. 172.160.95.124 05:50, 2 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Makes sense, I didn't like seeing it there but didn't think of a good enough reason to remove 'delicious' from the article. --Ice 06:32, 20 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Availability

Perhaps a note on where this stuff is sold (as in countries) would be helpful (I've never heard of it before) - Sajt 23:49, 13 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Trying to get Availability into it's own section, been some resistance before, I think tonight it'll happen. --Ice 06:32, 20 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Personal note

Yay for Wikipedia revisions while consuming bawls! --Ice 06:32, 20 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
