Fair Warning is the fourth album by American hard rock band Van Halen, released in 1981 (see 1981 in music). During this time, there were great tensions in the band, and in sales, it has only sold about 2 million copies. This was considered to be Van Halen's darkest and most uncompromising album and despite the relatively low sales, it has become a fan favorite and an underrated classic.
