Adam von Bremen (d. after 1081) - historian, associate of archbishop Adalbert von Bremen, author of Magistri Adami Bremensis Gesta hammaburgensis ecclesiae pontificum (Deeds of bishops of the Hamburg Church) - a significant historic record of Scandinavian and West-Slavic tribes as well as German-Slavic relaions.
