Zwevegem is a municipality located in the Belgian province of West Flanders. The municipality comprises the towns of Heestert, Moen, Otegem, Sint-Denijs and Zwevegem proper. On January 1st, 2000 Zwevegem had a total population of 23,489 (11,645 males and 11,844 females). The total area is 63.26 km² and the population density is 371.31 inhabitants per km².
