Ramón José Hernández (born May 20, 1976 in Caracas, Venezuela) is a Major League Baseball catcher and right-handed batter who plays for the San Diego Padres. Previously, he played with the Oakland Athletics between 1999 and 2003.

In five seasons with Oakland, Hernández batted .253 with 60 homeruns, 263 RBI, 241 runs, 95 doubles, one triple, and three stolen bases in 595 games. In the post-season, he hit 10-for-58 for a .172 BA with five RBI, four runs, and two doubles in 19 games.

Hernandez was selected to the 2003 All-Star Game.
