Death Clock Metalocalypse is an animated show airing in 2006 on Adult Swim, created by Brendon Small and Tommy Blacha. The show is greenlit for 20 episodes, and begins in August 2006. Described as "Spinal Tap meets Scooby-Doo meets Norway."

Summary

From the Adult Swim website: "The world’s most popular heavy metal band leaves a trail of mayhem and destruction wherever they go. The animated comedy, from co-creators and executive producers Brendon Small and Tommy Blacha, will debut in August and feature ear-melting heavy metal and guest appearances by musicians like Kirk Hammett and James Hetfield of Metallica."

In the promo commercial for Death Clock Metalocalypse, you'll notice a band in a grocery store which is named after the Finnish metal band Finntroll.
