Dalmacio Vélez Sársfield (1801-02-18 – 1875-06-30) was an Argentine lawyer and politician. He wrote the Argentine Civil Code of 1869.

Vélez Sársfield was born in Amboy, Calamuchita Valley, Córdoba. He died at age 74 in Buenos Aires.
