i am a computer science student at Bridgewater College in Bridgewater VA. i am interested in programming languages, operating systems, design patterns, computational mathematics, and electronics. i am the president of the Bridgewater chapter of the ACM.

i am very interested in philosophy. Moral issues are very important as well as altruism, and education. Social interaction and sharing of information (or really anything) is important. i enjoy it when others share their work and provide it for free and without hassle. Communities that do this fairly well are the science communities in general. Academic communities are great because of sharing of ideas freely and openly. Education progresses much smoother in this situation. The open source community also provides a good learning environment.
