CBBC on Choice

On the CBBC Channel page, in the infobox, CBBC on Choice is a former name. However, CBeebies says that CBBC on Choice is a channel it replaced. I'd like to know the details: what exactly is it? --Thelb4 16:30, 15 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

P.S. I will link to here from the Talk:CBBC channel page.

Technically 'replaced', though it wasn't a channel, just a programming strand on BBC Choice. By the way, you're forgetting to change 05 to 06 in the Audience share updates. BillyH 16:35, 15 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Star TV

Can someone explain the relevance of this "Star TV" list to CBeebies?

--JimmyTheWig 13:19, 20 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Please be careful what you add to the page!!!

Hi all. I just took 4 programes out of the list of programme examles of the CBeebies channel, since 3 of them they have never shown, and the 4th, I can find no existance of anywhere on the net! CBeebies have never shown, Peppa Pig, Thomas the Tank Engine, or Fifi and the Flowertots (all 3 on the ITV network) and can anyone tell who or what the hell Tommy Zoom is (or was) since CBeebies have no idea what the heck it is! And thats straight from BBC Network Centre, in London... Sorry to be picky, but thats life!!! Thor Malmjursson 01:24, 22 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Network Centre should consult their web developers, then. http://www.bbc.co.uk/cbeebies/characterpages/tommyzoom/index.shtml Tonywalton  | Talk 16:13, 23 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
With apologies to you Tonywalton, I can only assume they have't got any knowledge of it because it was listed as a programme shown on CBeebies, and that is how I enquired on it. As in "Have you ever heard of a programme on your channel called Tommy Zoom?" "No." - If it had been listed differently, as being on the web rather than a networked show, I would have probably got on a heck of a lot easier!!! No problem. I did find it on line one of the results of a google search for Tommy Zoom, mind. Perhaps Google searches differently depending on your browser (I'm serious there; the search string includes a "browser" string. Maybe the search is more efficient using Safari...). Whatever, regarding Tommy Zoom, he appears from the CBeebies page I supplied not to be a programme character as such; it seems more like a series of stories from Little Toe, so strictly they they were right to say that there's no programme by that name. so you too were right in removing TZ from the list; like Blue Cow, Sniff & Wag and so on it isn't a programme as such! Presenters

Does anyone know what's going on with the presenters?

It looks like Sue has now gone and it's now just the four of them.

Any ideas on how best to change the article to reflect this? The bedtime songs have changed too. Have they scrapped the 6pm song in favour of a "bedtime montage" of clips from programs about bedtime?

--JimmyTheWig 09:22, 6 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

According to the CBeebies message board Sue left in March. They've re-recorded the goodnight song with only the four current presenters (to general opprobrium so the version with Nicole in is no longer broadcast. I've edited the article to reflect this; feel free to improve it! Tonywalton  | Talk 18:12, 24 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Have added my two pennyworth to the article. Dunno if it improves it, though! --JimmyTheWig 14:14, 26 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
