Native American Indian Lands, occupied by the United States of America
Disputed lands occupied by the State of Israel The legal status of these territories has been violently disputed for several decades, going back to the early-to-mid 20th century. As the 21st century began, they still have no internationally-recognized legal status.
Jordan occupied the West Bank, and Egypt occupied Gaza for nearly two decades after the Arabs failed to drive Israel into the sea during the first Arab-Israeli war in 1948. Israel occupied these territories after it emerged victorious from its second war for national survival in 1967.
Disputed lands occupied by the United States of America
According to some arguments by a radical few, all of the United States of America might be considered occupied territory of Native American Indians. However, most people do not accept this extreme view because if the logic behind this position were to be accepted, then most every nation in the world could eventually be shown to be an illegal occuppier of a previous inhabitants land. However, a significant number of people agree that there is much Native American Indian territory that is currently illegally occupied by the United States; this is said to be because this land legally belongs to various Native American Indian groups due to legally binding treaties signed between the USA and particular Indian tribes, which the USA later violated.
