Calypso is a cruise liner owned by Louis Cruise Lines.

On Saturday 6 May 2006 at 4am its starboard engine caught fire while it was carrying 708 people 16 miles off Eastbourne sailing from Tilbury to St Peter Port on Guernsey. Its crew put the fire out. Its passengers sat in its lifeboats but the boats were not launched.
