Jesus is a motion picture that was released in 1979 that depicts the life of Jesus Christ according to the Gospel of Luke in the Bible. The film was the idea of Bill Bright who wanted to present the life of Jesus to people in their own language.

According to statistics at Jesusfilm.org the film has been translated in over 800 languages.
