Cloud based integration is a form of systems integration that is delivered as a Cloud service rather than through an on-premise integration framework or platform. Using this methodology enables the advantages of Cloud computing to be applied to Systems Integration namely, elimination of Software deployment, rapid implementation and compressed "SDLC". Additionally, Cloud based integration is typically consumed as Software as a Service SaaS and is billed on a recurring basis (often monthly).
